TEMPLE – SALADO SWITCH 34/1385 KV TRANSMISSION LINE PROJECT

To continue to provide safe and reliable electric service in this area, Oncor proposes to rebuild its existing Temple Switch – Salado Switch 345/138 kilovolt (kV) transmission line in Bell County on a combination of new lattice tower and monopole structures. The Project will connect a total of five existing and proposed Oncor switching stations:

1. Oncor’s existing Temple Switch, located approximately 0.75 miles southeast of the intersection of Loop 363 and State Highway (SH) 53 in Bell County;

2. Oncor’s existing Knob Creek Switch, located approximately 1 mile east of the intersection of U.S. Highway 190 and SH 95 in Bell County;

3. Oncor’s proposed Paramount Switch, which will be located approximately 0.7 miles south of the U.S. Highway 190 and SH 95 intersection in Bell County;

4. Oncor’s existing Fryers Creek Switch, located approximately 1 mile northwest of the intersection of SH 95 and Farm-to-Market Road (FM) 93 in Bell County; and

5. Oncor’s existing Salado Switch, located approximately 1.2 miles northeast of the intersection of Interstate Highway (IH) 35 and FM 2484 in Bell County.

The proposed project will be built entirely within existing Oncor ROW and will be approximately 15 miles long.
