To continue to provide safe and reliable electric service in this area, Oncor Electric Delivery Company LLC (Oncor) and Texas-New Mexico Power Company (TNMP) are proposing to construct a double-circuit 345 kV transmission line in Reeves County, with both circuits operational, between Oncor’s planned Dry Lake Switch, which will abut the south side of Farm-to-Market (FM) 2119, approximately 5.4 miles northwest of County Road (CR) 232, to TNMP’s proposed Faulkner Substation, to be located approximately 3.3 miles south of Interstate Highway 20 in the City of Toyah. The Proposed Transmission Line Project is currently planned for completion in Fall 2028.
Voltage and Structure Type – The project includes a new 345 kV Double Circuit Transmission Line, approximately 24 miles in length. The structure will be constructed on self-supporting monopole structures.
