To continue to provide safe and reliable electric service in this area, Oncor Electric Delivery Company LLC (Oncor) is proposing to construct a new, single-circuit 345 kV transmission line to be built on double-circuit lattice steel towers, with one circuit installed initially, between Oncor’s proposed McGee Switch in Crane County, Texas, and the proposed Sisters Solar POI in Ector County, Texas. The Proposed Transmission Line Project is currently planned for completion in Spring 2027.

Voltage and Structure Type – The project includes a new single-circuit 345 kV transmission line to be built on double-circuit lattice steel towers, with one circuit installed initially, approximately 4.72 miles in length.
