LOAD MANAGEMENT

COMMERCIAL LOAD MANAGEMENT PROGRAM

Through the Commercial Load Management Program, you can save money and lower energy usage during occasional periods when energy demand is unusually high. The summer on-peak demand period falls between 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. Central Standard Time, Monday through Friday, June through September, excluding weekends and federal holidays. The winter emergency on-peak demand period falls between 6 a.m. and 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. Central Standard Time, and operates 24 hours a day from December through February.

See If Your Business Qualifies

To qualify for incentives, your business must be located in Oncor’s service area and receive electricity from an Oncor meter. Each project must achieve a total demand savings of 100 kW or more during on-peak demand periods. Current loads will be determined before program participation. Oncor verifies demand reductions (data collected by Interval Data Recorders) before paying incentives.
