Strengthening relationships with a broad range of businesses through outreach, networking opportunities and direct connections with Oncor teams.

Providing mentorship, training and resources to help suppliers, particularly small businesses, strengthen operations, meet industry standards and build capacity for larger opportunities.

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS

DFW Business Council’s Buying Entity Award

In 2025, Oncor received the DFW Business Council’s Buying Entity Award for its efforts in supporting business growth and strengthening its supply chain.

Corporation of the Year

Oncor was named 2026 Corporation of the Year by the Women’s Business Council-Southwest, recognizing its commitment to working with a wide range of business partners. The award highlights Oncor’s efforts to support local businesses and strengthen the communities it serves.

National WBE Hall of Fame

Oncor was inducted into the National Women Business Enterprise Hall of Fame in 2024 for its "perennial leadership and support of women-owned businesses."

BOLT – OUR SIGNATURE NETWORKING PROGRAM

The Building Opportunities and Leading Transformation (BOLT) program was designed to connect with and develop small suppliers through strategic engagement and networking. Through BOLT, Oncor also partnered with Blue Wave, a firm that helps small and mid-sized businesses strengthen operations and meet the standards required to work with major corporations and government entities. Oncor recently sponsored a cohort of 30 suppliers, providing guidance and resources to help them strengthen operations, scale their capabilities and prepare for long-term growth.
