Oncor is donating $100,000 to the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country to support Texans and communities impacted by the catastrophic flooding that devastated Central Texas over the Fourth of July weekend. Contributions made to the foundation will be distributed to vetted local organizations providing rescue, relief, recovery services and flood assistance across Boerne, Hunt, Ingram, Kerrville, Center Point and Comfort through the Kerr County Flood Relief Fund.

“The recent flooding in the Hill Country and Central Texas have left so many of us devastated and grieving for our fellow Texans. While the areas that experienced the worst of this flooding are located outside of Oncor’s service territory, we recognize the impacts of this tragedy extend far beyond county lines,” said Debbie Dennis, Senior Vice President, Chief Customer Officer and Chief Human Resources Officer.

“Our hearts are with the people of Kerr County, the Texas Hill Country, and all those whose lives have been upended by this disaster. We’re honored to join the many individuals and organizations extending a helping hand by supporting the ongoing response, relief, and recovery efforts through this contribution.”
