For Homes
Our residential programs are open to any resident of Oncor's service area regardless of their retail electric provider. Here's how to get started.
Step 1: Review our programs below to see which ones might benefit your home the most.
Step 2: Interview several of the Participating Service Providers to see who seems best suited for the work you need at the best price. Be sure to use our guide How to Select a Service Provider
Step 3: The Service Provider will assess your home and confirm what work is eligible. Enter into a contract with the Service Provider that clearly specifies the work to be done and the cost for the work.
Step 4: If requested, please allow Oncor to inspect the work for verification purposes.
Step 5: Inspect the work yourself. Don't sign the Service Provider's final forms or pay for the work until you are completely satisfied.
