Priority codes are indicators used by Competitive Retailers to designate a desire for enhanced response to Oncor provided services. Priority codes may not be available for all services; however, Oncor strives to provide the highest level of service at any time based on available resources scheduled.

Priority Codes For Move In's
Priority 1 Standard – must receive request 2 Business Days prior to date wanted.
Priority 3 Same Day if received by 5:00 PM Monday-Friday. Excludes Temp Services and where construction is required.
Priority 4 Holiday orders received by 5:00 PM on the Holiday will be completed that day.

Priority Codes for Reconnects for Disconnection of Non-Payment
Priority 1 Standard reconnects received by 2:00 PM Monday-Friday will be completed that day. Request after 2:00 but before 5:00 will be completed same day if possible, or next calendar day.
  • Request received after 2:00 PM on Friday or Saturday/Sunday will be completed as soon as possible and applicable charges will be assessed based on the time of the completion of the order.
Priority 2 Same Day for Weekdays, received before 5:00 PM
Priority 3 Same Day for Weekends, received before 5:00 PM
Priority 4 Same Day for Holidays, received before 5:00 PM
Priority 5 Reserved for Pre-paid REP's who have submitted associated provisions to the PUC, have completed all requirements and where provisioned AMS meters exist. Reconnects will be completed within 1 hour of receipt of the Priority 5 reconnect request.
