We Appreciate Our Competitive Retailers

Oncor held the "2008 REP Relations & Energy Efficiency Workshop & Appreciation Events" in Dallas and Houston, on October 22 and November 13, 2008. More than 100 individuals representing 38 Retail Electric Providers attended the events.

Topics covered at the workshop included energy efficiency programs overview and opportunities; process improvements and joint customer initiatives; ongoing planned system improvements, AMS deployment plans, and upcoming rate changes. The REPS also received a special tour of the Oncor Smart Texas Mobile Experience Center followed by an appreciation/networking dinner.

"REP Managers communicate with our REP partners practically every day," Mike Murphy explained. "However, it was good to visit with them face-to-face during these events and let them know how much we enjoy working with each one. We appreciate the positive feedback and constructive suggestions those in attendance provided through the meeting evaluations."
