We Appreciate Our Retail Electric and EDI Service Providers
Oncor conducted the “2009 Retail Electric Provider and EDI Service Provider & Energy Efficiency Outreach Workshop & Dinner” in Dallas and Houston. The events were held on November 5 in Houston and November 19 in Dallas. More than 150 individuals representing 45 Competitive Retailers and 3 EDI Service Providers attended the events.
Topics covered at the workshop included the Energy Efficiency Programs, the Status of the Smart Meter Texas Portal; Oncor’s AMS Deployment Update; Tariff Change & New Rate Codes; I/T, Contact Center, and Revenue Management Transformation Update & Ask Oncor Community Open House Program. The guests also toured Oncor’s Energy Efficiency “Take a Load off Texas” demonstration followed by an appreciation/networking dinner.
"We appreciate the REPs, Service Providers and our guests from the PUC – Office of Public Utility Counsel taking time from their busy schedules this time of the year to attend," stated Mike Murphy – Mgr. of REP Relations, “it’s always good to shake hands and express our appreciation to those responsible for the continued success of the Texas Competitive Electric Market.”
